I'm Vel Wall, the owner of Krispies. 

 

Like most, I have always loved rice crispy treats since I was a kid.  Smelling the butter melting, watching the marshmallows rise just as they heat up, getting sticky fingers while struggling to scrape the cereal marshmallowy goodness out of the bowl and into the pan - SO GOOD! 

 

Well, one holiday, I made cake batter rice crispy treats for my co-workers and that was when I realized how much you could do with these nostalgic little treats!  I began concocting random mixes and hoped to sell them to a local pizzeria.  At my next visit, I was told they recently decided to no longer carry desserts.  I dropped the idea and didn't revisit until nearly a decade later.  After many jobs working for others, I knew that I would only be fulfilled doing my own thing.  I still had "starter recipes" for some funky flavored treats, so I took another swing, and thus, Krispies was born!

Krispies by Vel is a small homemade rice crispy treat business that provides a unique confectionary option.  The flavors we cultivate will definitely surprise you.  Especially if you get the chance to try our key lime pie... it's out of this world!  If you like em, make sure you grab them before they're gone because we rotate our flavors every 4-6 weeks! Not only are Krispies bars tasty, they are also super cute!  Our goal is to deliver delicious homemade rice crispy treats with flavors that will excite every person who tries them.
